She works really hard to adapt to his learning preferences and help him gradually build his reading skills. A year ago, he was having a very hard time learning to read and, in general, he's often resistant to learning through direct lessons (he's autistic with a PDA profile). With Sacha's help, he's come a long, long ways - for example, as of a couple months ago, he can read sentences and early reader books (like Elephant & Piggie).
